Scopetronic Vista5 wont bell test

My system wont activate the external alarm bell. I thought it was the old mechanical bell assembly , so replaced that with a new bell box but still not joy.

Ihave the engineer code for the panel but no instructions .

Any tips on how to further diagnose the problem ?

First activate the bell & measure the voltage across Ext + & - it should be 12-13v DC . If not check the bell fuse. If voltage is present bring the bell to the panel & wire it in directly, this will eliminate any problems with the existing wiring.
If its still not working please post your connections from the bell to the panel
