Hello, We have a Airtech CS 350 and when we try to arm the alarm we get a message saying "Open zones" then "cabinet tamper" and it wont allow the alarm to activate. Is there any way around this? The alarm was activated via the panic button yesterday but that has been reset (used the key, the green strip appears on the panic button box so I am assuming it is ok) I don't have the engineers code (tried the default and it did not work). Regards David

There are only 2 things that will flag cabinet tamper.
The Lid on the panel is not compleatly closed or the aux tamper circut is open.
Open the lid of the control panel & hold in the tamper spring while getting someone to set the system. If that does not work short out terminals 18 & 19 & try again.

I tried holding in the spring on the control panel and arming the system it just gives the same message and when I let the spring go the alarm sounds. I cant identify which is terminal 18 and 19 so I think I will just wait until Monday and ring the crowd (Limerick Security systems) that have there name on the box. Thanks for trying to help.

This is easy enough dont waste your money.
The top connection where there is an earth connection is 1 , just count down from there. Terminal 20 will probobly be empty.

One last stupid question, how do I short them? Is it like on a mother board of a pc, where you use a little black jumper?

just wire a cable from 18 to 19
