Urgent help - astec alarm going off

Could anyone please help. We have an astec alarm that just went off on its on monday night. First we had fault 15, then 22. We just want to shut it off til morning when we can get a new battery. Anyone have a quick fix please. Our neighbours are preparing to stone us.

You may have this solved by now. But the quickest solution is to power the system down.
Remove the panel lid (turn both screws to verticle & pull towards you)
The mains fuse should remove with the lid ( the orange neon light should be off), If not remove it.
Remove the battery link to the very right of the terminal connections.
At this stage all the led on the panel should be off ,the keypad should also be dead. The external bell may be ringing, this will stop within 20 minutes. After this the system is totally powered down & can not activate again.
