hkc securewatch problem

After commissioning the panel when the unit was put in (partguard a) the alarm led on the keypad lights up but the alarm does not activate and it continues to run as normal.It does
not happen when you fully arm the system.The partguard is used with a pir which covers the upstairs in the house.It is a dual passive infrared detector with id bus.It is wired to suite dual end of line resistor 4k7 ohm.Can anybody help me with this issue.

No sure what is the problem you are having. Is it when you part set the system & then try activate the alarm the bells do not ring?

Hi

When i partset the alarm it arms as it normally should.But on the keypad the alarm led lights up even though the keypad still reads partset.It does not activate the alarm bells unless i trip the alarm. As far as
i am aware the alarm led on the keypad should only activate in an alarm condition.

The red LED indicated the system is set, not activated.
