View Full Version : Aritech CS350 battery
I have Aritech CS350 control panel. The alarm keypad indicates LOW BATTERY. Where can I buy a new battery and is it easy enough to install? Top Class Site Guys!

Thanks for the compliment Leo. Most electrical wholesale suppliers stock these batteries. T O Riellys etc. They are also sold by the likes of Maplins although they tend to be much dearer. Expect to pay €10 -€20. The battery you require is 12 volt DC 2.8 amp. Installing it is simple. Locate the main control panel (Usually in a hot press or under the stairs). Disconnect the mains power at the fuse board. Remove the cover, the alarm will activate (this is normal), disarm it using your user code. The battery will be sitting to the left of the main circuit board. Unplug the 2 wires from the battery terminals and remove the old battery. Reconnect the new battery matching the coloured wires to the red and black battery terminals. Replace the cover and check to see if the alarm sets ok. If the display shows PANEL TAMPER remove & replace the cover again. Note the LOW BATTERY can take a few minutes to clear from the display.
