hi
I have checked keypad feed A B terminals as you said and have 12.9v
at them.when conected together through my voltmeter.
I have removed battery from my bell/siren box to stop alarm sounding
not sure if this will effect keypad not working.
i noticed spare resister type wires celotaped to the back of my
control box,any idea why this is.
I may need to purchase manual for this system, would you no
cost please.
Any other reason why keypad not working would be greatly
appreciated.

If you have 12v dc on A & B & there is no display then the keypad is probobly faulty. To eliminate a problem with the cable remove the kepad bring it up to the control panel & wire it directly on a short lenght of cable. (bear in mind this could still be a fault with the panel also) Removing the battery from the bell wont affect the operation of the keypad.
The spare resistors are for zone wiring & external bell tamper only.
