Hi

I had the above fault on my alarm and do not know how to clear it.

I keyed in the factory engineer code and now the alarm is stuck in engineer mode - clever! Do you know how I can clear the fault? And get out of eng mode! Thanks.

Am located in Galway.

Mike.

Try removing & replacing the lid of the control panel ensuring it is 100% closed.
When all is closed it should display Zone <>
once that displays press Clear 99 to exit engineer

It can't just say tamper on an that panel.
Press Clear Set Full & make a note of everything on screen.

OK , you have 2 Problems there.
The panel is not seeing the outside bell (SAB)
The lid on the panel is not closed correctly.

Check the bell connections at the panel & up at the external bell, ensuring the pins are fitting correctly into the base and are not bent.
You will be opening the panel lid to check the connections . When done ensure it closes correctly & flush. Do not try to force it as this may damage the thamper switch.
Always turn off the mains power before opening the panel.
